Unhackable Victorinox Secure USB drive

Victorinox have updated their range of USB drive penknives to now include supposedly  ”un-hackable”  systems that keep your data safe from prying eyes. Victorinox were so confident in their device they offered a £100,000 prize to a team of “professional hackers” if one could hack the device during the companies launch event. All failed.

victorinoxThe security in the new knife is a combination of its AES256 technology and fingerprint security and the self destruct mechanism that destroys the memory chip and CPU within the device if a hack is detected. Its currectly available in the UK only at the moment at £50 for the 8Gb version and £180 for the 32GB version or around $75 to $270.

This device is quite useful for businessmen who carry confidential datas with them and if they loose this USB drive. The data inside that will be automatically deleted if anybody tries to open it as this device has a facility of fingerprint lock. If anybody other than the authorized user tries to open it, or tries to view the data inside it the device self destructs the whole data and will offer full security for your data. Lets wait for it and see if when it will be available in all countries.
