It is January 1 today and what comes to mind automatically? Resolutions. What is your resolution on this new year? Whatever it may be, be sure you follow it right to the dot. Never give up your resolution even under critical circumstances. It may help you a lot.

Every resolution needs some steps to hold it down firmly. These are often called as stepping stones. I will suggest you some points as of now. Very important ones.

Take One step at a time
Taking one step at a time is very important. Don’t try to jump to the big things at first. It may result in loss and disappointment and may lead to postponing or discontinual of an action fearing rejection again. So it is very important to start small, aim big and achieve that height. Video games also follow the same thing. Take CSR Racing for example, in that, you need to win the local races and the other side races, earn money, upgrade your car and then look at the boss cars. Then it will be quite simple to defeat the boss. Like that, in real life as well, you have to upgrade yourself and then attack the problem, find the solution and win fame. It all takes time.

Be consistent
Whatever you do, do it on a regular basis, everyday. Don’t just do it for one day and then leave a huge gap. Cut it out into small bits and do your workload. Results are always based on consistency.

Change yourself occasionally
Change- many people are afraid of that magic word. They think that it may change their life drastically. But you know what, change happens every minute, every second of our life. It is just that we don’t realize. Sometimes you have to let go of what is not correct or right or which is unacceptable by society.

Smile- it doesn’t cost you anything
People around me or rather us tend to be very busy with their schedule that they tend to forget to do one thing. Smile! It is a very important thing in our life and it can also put a smile on another person’s face. You may not know what problem he/she is in and one smile can automatically change his/her mood and make him/her seek solution to their own problems. They say, frowning uses around 43 muscles and smile only 17. The numbers are contrasting and are in debate. But anyways, who cares about the numbers? Just smile.

Enjoy doing what you are doing
This is something that most people don’t do. People tend to do things mechanically and this doesn’t help them in any way. This only leads to life being mechanical and overly stressed. In order to avoid that path that leads to breakdown, go all out and freak out, love what you do and do what you love.

Relax, put on your brakes
Our lives are very much like a car. We step on the accelerator more than the brakes. Over acceleration can lead to accidents. So step on your brakes and relax because the green signal is still not…. Green! Sit and feel the nature around you. Take it in your veins. Give out the stress. Then you can continue to accelerate.
