GOSF- a Google Initiative to set in soon. Go Grab your shopping bags!

GOSF or The Great Online Shopping Festival was created by Google India on December 12, 2012 in collaboration with some major number of shopping portals. The concept of GOSF is to promote sales in the online portals by offering a one day heavy discount sales. The Mega sale is going to happen again this year and for this year the sale dates are from December 11-13, 2013.

The GOSF is similar to the Black Friday and the Cyber Monday sales happening in the United States. Those are days which happen next to Thanksgiving day and are sales happening before the holiday season. Heavy discounts are offered on electronic gadgets and other items. Similarly, in China, a one day shopping sale is organized in which all the items which are not fast moving from the shelves are sold at heavy discounts. The GOSF is one such Festival but different in many ways and many megastores like Flipkart, SnapDeal, Jabong, etc participate and offer heavy discounted prices. Don’t think that only Electronic Gadgets are offered, there is also a discount in air fares, bus fares if you shop in the respective portals. Only few hours is left before the GOSF officially begins, so grab your shopping bags and your wallet of course and shop till you drop.
