How to create sculptures using CD and computer peripherals?

Creativity doesn’t have limits! This statement stays true for the Australian artist “Sean Avery”, who is a children’s book author and illustrator from Perth. Sean Avery didn’t throw away his old computer peripherals, instead he created sculptures using those. His sculptures has been displayed in Wood-side Plaza, Remida and Scitech and the famous TV program “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” have recently purchased some of his sculptures for displaying in their Baltimore and Hollywood museums. He is also the winner of many Australian local awards.

The nature of my sculpture practice ensures that each piece will be completely unique. I blend many different man made materials together to make them appear strangely organic, with a distinct sense of movement. I only use recycled materials to create my sculptures, which classifies my work as “sustainable art”, Sean Avery said in his blog.
