YotaPhone, an Android mobile with LCD screen on front and E-ink screen Back

Just a week ago we saw an iPhone case that can provide two screens to your Smartphone. Well that was a case and the dual screen was not built-in with the gadget it self. But here, we are going to see a mobile with dual screens – LCD screen on the front side and E-ink screen on the back side.

YotaPhone, is an Android mobile with 4.3 inch LCD display on the front side and Amazon Kindle like black and white E-Ink screen on the back – needs very less battery power. So, having two screens will not eat up your mobile’s juice.

E-Inch screen cannot be used for watching videos or colorful pictures, but you can have a glance of weather,  stock market prices, social media feeds. Interestingly you can check all these on the E-ink screen without the need of waking up your mobile from the sleep mode and more importantly, the E-Ink screen can be viewed in direct sunlight. The E-Ink screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass for giving you the curved design.

YotaPhone is expected to be launched during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, February with a price tag of $500.
