Fiat’s “Grandae Punto” the next generation car of India

Fiat India is planning to launch “Fiat Grande Punto” shortly in india by the end of may-09. Fiat Punto was Designed by the famous Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italian design, Fiat Grande Punto would be a sporty look with host of practical features of design, comfort, safety. Grande punto will compete with Maruthi swift, Getz CRDi and indica DICOR.

Grande punto comes in variants as 1.4 Petrol Dynamic, 1.3 JTD Diesel Dynamic, 1.9 JTD Diesel Emotion, 1.9 JTD Diesel Sport. Punto’s 1.3l diesel engine comes in two variants with the one delivering 75bhp active and the other 90bhp dynamic. So you will be get power and performance combines with engine.

Grande Punto price is approximately  Rs. 6.5lac for an  75bhp engine and Rs. 8.5lac for 90bhp engine. It gives an approximate mileage of 20km for 75bhp and 23kmpl for 90bhp engine.

Grande Punto comes in good-looking, spacious and solid hatchback which should deliver good performance. All the typical Fiat strengthn features will be included and the car will have a balanced ride and handling compromise.
