Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 hit Play Store in India and Hong Kong
The LG Google Nexus 5 and the new Asus Nexus 7 are ready to rock the Play Store (previously Android market) for India and Hong Kong. The Nexus 5 is the latest addition to the Nexus family and includes the Nexus 4, the old Nexus 7, the Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus S, the Nexus One (out-of-stock and out-of-production).
The Google Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 are available in two versions- a 16GB model and a 32GB model. The Nexus 5 comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box and has the usual set of connectivity as the Nexus 4. (WiFi, Bluetooth, Tethering, etc.). The 16GB model costs around Rs. 28,999/- and the 32GB model costs around Rs. 32,999/-. The Hong Kong version gets priced at HK$3,198 for the 16GB variant and HK$3,588 for the 32GB variant.
The Nexus 7 is a tablet by Asus. The tablet gets remade again and is said to come with Android 4.4 Out of the box. The 16GB variant is said to be available after November 26. The 32GB model is currently available in the Play Store. It will ship immediately. The pricing is not mentioned.
