Never be lost in the crowded Auto Expo – Here’s an app to guide you!
The Indian Auto show has started yesterday and the makers of the show want to show the event to a whole lot of audience and hence they have released an application which has all the details about the ticketing, schedule and many other things all in one place. The app is available for Android, iOS and WP8 – all at once, that’s something which you don’t see often.
The Auto Expo is sponsored by the CII, SIAM and ACMA. The expo is expected to showcase vehicles from various manufacturers that are classified as – Cars, Two wheelers, Commercial Vehicles, Electric vehicles and others.
The app is rather simple to use and has 9 categories of icons as seen from the image above. The categories are:

- Favourites
- Site Map
- Tickets
- Info
- Shuttle
- News
- Organisers
- Videos
The sitemap gives you information on places and things that are happening in the show. Shuttle gives you the information on free busses that are arranged for visitors transit.
The program spans over a period of 5 days (i.e. from 7th Feb to 11th Feb). On 7,10 and 11 Feb, there are two types of hours – Business Hours (10Am-1PM) for which the entry fee is Rs. 500 and General Hour (1PM-6PM) for which the entry fee is Rs. 200. On Weekends, the entry ticket is Rs 300. The booking sponsor is BookMyShow. The app overall gives you all details regarding the Auto Expo.
