Pebble smartwatch enters production, ships Jan 23! [CES 2013]

The new Pebble smart timepiece is going to be on your hands sooner! Yes, the real light-weighing, sleek and trendy watch in ready for production.

Okay, now leaving behind the release dates lets have a quick look at the enhanced features! So that you can prepare yourself to get one!

The Pebble smartwatch comes with E Ink style LCD display, which means you can see bright light. Display is black-and-white with a resolution of 144 x 168 pixels.  It charges via a small magnetic clip which can last about a week on a single charge(two complete hours). It’s also water-resistant down to four atmospheres! The chassis is light and the whole watch weighs just 38.2 grams. It comes in colors like black, gray, orange, red, or white.

It can work either iOS or Android to receive notifications for texts, emails, and calls. It controls music on your phone using AVRCP that works just like it does on Bluetooth headsets. Pebble has mobile apps that can be paired with the Pebble watch, through which, wearers can modify the watch-face that are displayed on the device.

We have more and more on this smart watch Pebble says that it will be continuing to post updates every 2-3 weeks until it completes all the features it announced and says that Kickstarter-backers will be one of the first to see its evolution!
