Samsung unveils UN85S9 – An 85-inch 4K S9 Ultra HDTV with floating design at CES 2013!

Samsung has kept its promise! Yes, it has unveiled what we were all awaiting the most for. Teased the unprecedented few days before , the answer has come now. It is an 85-inch 4K TV with floating design!

The Samsung 85-inch UN85S9 is upto now, world’s largest Ultra High-Definition TV; it is suspended by a metal frame that can be titled up or down.

The metal frame reminiscent of an easel  holds 120-watt 2.2 speaker system that surrounds the display. The TV also  features Samsung’s new Smart Hub software, voice control, gesture control, set of locally dimmed LED-backlights, app support and S-Recommendation.

The processor behind this is a 1.35Ghz quad-core A15 processor. Standard HDMI ports are also available along with optical audio output.

Samsung’s Precision Black Pro technology, the S9 delivers deep, real blacks as well as pure vivacious whites. It combines an extremely high contrast ratio and Ultimate Dimming control functionality – which utilizes hundreds blocks of LEDs and precise BLU control – to deliver sharp resolutions previously unseen on large format displays.

  1. 85 inch is really big enough to me, when you are looking at the price it is truly expensive. $40,000?. What?. But with its features and capabilities this is definitely worth.
