Drop Lumia Phones and you don’t regret for it – Nokia Toughness Test

What is it that comes to mind when we say Nokia? Is it the Windows Phone? Was it the Symbian? Symbian does come to mind but then the OS is dead, so we cant really talk about that. The next thing to the OS would be the build quality. Nokia is also known for its superior hardware. The hardware can withstand anything and this is proved by the popular image of a Nokia 1100/3310 withstanding a nuclear bomb in Facebook which is viral.

Nokia is yet again showing that feature in its new promo ad for the Asha where it is dropped and other torture tests are performed on the device. The video is very well made as you would expect from Nokia. But as the site is in Chinese and not really a trustable source, the video link might not work at times. But do check that you have your Flash player installed, after which only the video will work fine. This toughness is also applicable for the high end smartphones and not only for the budget and the low cost phones. The Lumia 800 is a very good example of such a feat. And the Nokia Lumia 920 is also another example. Even if you drop the phone from your pocket (if it slips that is) you will get some minor dents on the body and nothing will happen to the screen.
