WD launches 2 TB Hard drive

As data processing is increasing daily, we need to increase our data storage also. I had a 500 GB hard disk which was filled in with data within a very short period of time. We need to store the data or back it up in a hard drive. WD has given a range of 3.5 inch 1 TB hard drives to avoid these problems. Now, WD has given one more good news to its users that it is releasing a 3.5 inch hard drive with 2 TB storage capacity.

western-digital-2tbWestern Digital hard drive has advanced technologies to improve Speed, Performance and Capacity. Those include: StableTrac™, which secures the motor shaft at both ends to reduce system-induced vibration and stabilize platters for accurate tracking during read and write operations1; IntelliPower™, which fine-tunes the balance of spin speed, transfer rate and caching algorithms designed to deliver both significant power savings and solid performance; IntelliSeek™, which calculates optimum seek speeds to lower power consumption, noise, and vibration; and NoTouch™ ramp load technology, which is designed to ensure the recording head never touches the disk media resulting in significantly less wear to the recording head and media, as well as better drive protection while in transit.

Western digital 2 TB hard drives are available in select stores at a price of $299.
