50 Cent receives Free Lumia 1020. A gift on Asking?

I hope everyone knows who 50 cent is. If you don’t, then you don’t live in this world or it means you are rather a nerd who sticks to books and doesn’t care about the outside world. Well, that doesn’t matter. He is an American rapper whose real name is Curtis Jackson and has sung many super hit songs. Do you know the thing about being famous? You get anything you want. Even for FREE.

50 Cent in a recent interview at CES said that he wanted a good camera phone, as his iPhone camera rather didn’t please him. Nokia in particular went overboard and  gifted him a Nokia Lumia 1020, along with a short note written by the  CEO of marketing Juha and a Pelican case. That’s kind of cool isn’t it?

On receiving the phone and messing with it for a few days, 50 cent put up the photo of his new phone along with the letter and the case on Instagram. A lot of comments followed up immediately. But the general public do asked questions like why Nokia gives free phones to everyone? To me, it is like a great marketing strategy by Nokia! What’s your thought?!
