Kohjinsha launches kids netbook called Gachapin.

Kohjinsha, a company well known for its UMPC/Convertible tablet. But this time it had turned to attract kids with its new Gachapin Netbook. Not that stylish and impressive, but aimed to make kids to have fun with it. Gachapin Netbook comes with bright green color which could attract kids very quickly. The color sense for this netbook proves to be made for kids.

Kohjinsha has teamed up with toy maker Bandai to create a Gachapin and Mukku Netbook. Gachapin comes with 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 160 GB HDD, 8.9 inch display which can have resolution of 1024×600. Though meant for kids, it has WiFi, 3-in-1 card reader and 1.3 megapixel camera. Achives speed with 1GB of RAM. Netbook has 1Seg digital TV tuner card, which is expected to have a great hit among TV-loving kids.

Surprisingly this Netbook cost too much for kids. It is sold for $866.
