Is Apple and Intel working to Building SmartWatch to work with iPhone?!

Apple is romoured to have been in the process of developing a smart watch for 2013.

According to Chinese news site, Apple is said to been working with Intel to create a  1.5-inch OLED Bluetooth smart watch. And this would obviously make your connectivity endless!

But what is confusing here is that why would Intel be involved with making of a watch? As low-power Bluetooth 4.0 would make the watch wearable!
