Aaron Swartz, the Founder of Infogami & Co-author of RSS specifications commits suicide
The internet activists and co-author of RSS specifications, Mr. Aaron Swartz committed suicide on Jan 11, it’s a shocking news that we heard from the Tech world. Swartz was a founder of Infogami and the service was later merged with the social bookmarking site Reddit. According to the reports, On Jan 11, Swartz committed suicide and the news was confirmed by Swartz’s uncle Michael Wolf.
“The tragic and heartbreaking information you received is, regrettably, true,” said Elliot R. Peters, Swartz’s attorney.
Swartz also co-founded Demand Progress, an advocacy group that helps people to take action on the news that affects them. According to the reports, the possible reason for his death might be due to depression and health issues as well.
