Google launches The “Nexus One” mobile phone
Google has released the next entry into mobile phone space Nexus One manufactured by HTC into markets. Nexus One will utilize Google’s Android operating system. Nexus One will come with Android 2.1 which means it has same features which motorola android mobiles have. The phone is 22.5 mm thick and weighs 130 g. It has inline noise cancellation with two microphones, front and back, which enables Active noise suppression. The camera is 5 megapixel with LED Flash. Nexus One has a stereo bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack. This phone has got a 3.7 inch Amoled display, HVGA (480 x 800 resolution). Android 2.1 platform has a new 3D framework. This makes Nexus One as capable as a mini computer. Nexus One has live – dynamic and moving wallpaper. This also supports background sync with Picasa web albums and new photo visualization system. Photos cluster based on time, date, location etc.
This is a touch screen mobile with autofocus camera which can support 2x digital zoom. It has 512 MB flash and 512 MB RAM with inbuilt microSD card slot (up to 32 GB – a 4 GB card being bundled). It has many Google apps including Google Earth by which users can navigate to well known landmarks via voice commands. The price of this mobile is around $529. It can be called as a computer in users pocket.
