An animated video shows How Mars looked like 4 Billion Years Ago

An animated video created by NASA Goddard’s Conceptual Image Labs shows how the Red Planet looked like four billion years ago. According to the video, the Mars would have been seen similar to What Earth is now than the deserted Mars known today. The video was created based on the previous findings, where Mars was predicted to have minerals and rich flowing water; forming a better atmosphere.

“Billions of years ago, when the Red Planet was young, it appears to have had a thick atmosphere that was warm enough to support oceans of liquid water — a critical ingredient for life,” NASA explained.

The animation started with a water stream flowing, which slowly dried out after the years. The Blue clean sky turned into dusty pink and tan hues after billions of years.
