You will die Horribly Melissa Bachman! – Twitter cries over Hunted Lion
“I would be the first one to shoot at her! You are going to die a horrible death, I hope a lion rips your f**king head off you sick!”. I wish, I could say those words, but millions of Twitter users have already cursed Melissa Bachman for posing with a hunted prey. Melissa Bachman, the star of hunting show “Deadly Passion” has been now cursed by millions of Twitter users following her latest photo posted on Facebook and Twitter, where she posed with a hunted Lion. The photo was posted on November 1st, which was accompanied by Bachman posing with other hunted animals.
According to the latest reports, almost one lakh thirty five thousand people stand against Bachman and signed Change.org petition requesting the South African government to deny her entry into the country.
The controversial photo was posted with a caption “An incredible day hunting in South Africa! Stalked inside 60-yards on this beautiful male lion…what a hunt!” has brought the anger among millions in social media. The petition has been supported by Celebrities and founder of Oatmeal as well.

Update: Bachman shot the lion on South Africa’s Maroi Conservancy and the Conservancy’s Facebook page defends it as below,
“We do ethical hunting and all meat from animals hunted is distributed to the local community. Funds generated from hunting goes towards fixing the border fence that was washed away in the 2013 floods; combating poaching which is excessive in this area due to close proximity to Zimbabwe and running a sustainable conservancy. We have lost 2 eland, 4 giraffes and numerous other animals in the past 2 months that were killed by spears and dogs. We control our game numbers to prevent starvation of animals.”
