Nokia Lumia 929 named Lumia Black has leaked
The Nokia Lumia 929 is the latest offering in the Lumia range of lineup and is a little brother of the 1520. The phone comes with GDR3 out of the box and the latest exclusives offered by Nokia. The update is named Lumia Black and is said to bring Screen Lock, improvement to the Nokia Glance screen by adding more colors to the Night mode, support from four to six tiles.
The GDR3 or the General Distribution Release 3 is the third update to the WP8 range of devices and releases support for 5″ and 6″ devices. This is an advantage to the different manufacturers of Windows Phone, in which Nokia Lumia 929 will also feature. The Lumia 929 will be a Verizon exclusive. I don’t know why America gets the exclusives always ? as we Indians being the loyal customers of Nokia. Well, As Microsoft is heading towards Nokia, the move should be more logical now.
The 929 comes with a 5″ 1080pixel screen with ClearBlack technology. The ClearBlack technology will help increase the legibility in sunlight and acts just like how a polarizer would. The phone comes with a 20.7MP PureView camera and Dual LED Flash which is quite the same configuration as the Nokia 1520 phablet. It is also said to come with NFC support, SnapDragon 800 chipset which is clocked at 2.2GHz, a quad core processor (Woah!) and also comes with LTE support. The downside is that there is no expandable card slot and the available storage is 32GB but should be enough. Come back to find out for more updates.
