Volkswagen Phaeton will be launched with both petrol and diesel engine option and with automatic transmission option. Its variant which will be packed with 3.0L, V6 TDI diesel engine with six speed manual transmission gearbox produces 240PS of maximum power and delivers higher engine performance with power and excellent acceleration. On the other hand petrol variant of Volkswagen Phaeton will be packed with 6.0L, W12 petrol engine with five speed automatic transmission gearbox that produces 450PS of maximum power. This petrol variant is much more powerful in comparison to diesel variant and delivers great power and acceleration.

Volkswagen Phaeton will be packed with all standard feature that any luxury car offers including safety measures. The interiors of this car has build on dehumidifier that prevents it from steaming up and its air-suspension is designed in a way that automatically adjusts firmness within four adjustable levels.
