Silent Circle and Geeksphone partner to produce Blackphone that aims for more security!

Wanted to have a mobile that puts privacy and control at first place?! Here is good news for you from Silent Circle and Geeksphone, who have partnered to produce and offer you PrivatOS which is an Android based operating system.

The device is termed  – Blackphone and this will be “the world’s first smartphone placing privacy and control directly in the hands of its users”. Blackphone is sold unlocked and is designed to work with any GSM carrier. With PrivatOS powered Blackphone you can make calls, send messages and have files just like any other smartphone but with more security, which means you make and receive secure phone calls; send and receive secure messages; store and send secure files; perform a secure video chat; browse private; and anonymize your activity through a VPN  and the result? – Ensure nobody else spies on you without your prior knowledge!
