Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X coming soon

Mitsubishi Motors in joint venture with Hindustan Motors is going to launch a new car that is Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X in India and worldwide. The unique front side of the car resembles the appearance of shark-nose. The broad headlamps, classy rear lamps, cast aluminium alloy wheels and big sized tubeless radial tyres give a very aggressive but classy look to the car.

The car is fitted with 2.0 Liter, powered by inter cooled and turbo charged DOHC inline engine. The engine is equipped with 4 cylinder, twin cam and 16 valves. The engine is endowed with MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve-timing Electronic Control System) along with 5 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox. The engine produces the power of 291 hp at 6,500 rpm and 300 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 4,400 rpm.

The car has various safety features. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X has three point seat belts and head restraints along with seat belt pretensioner. The car is fitted with advanced seven airbags i.e. dual stage front SRS airbags, driver and passenger side impact airbags and front and rear side-curtain airbags. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X has ABS (Anti Lock Braking System) along with yaw rate sensors and brake pressure sensors. The car would also have ASC (Active Stability Control) feature.

The price of the car is expected to be Rs.22,00,000 (taking Mumbai as base price location). However the price specified is approximate price which excludes tax, registration, insurance and cost of accessories.
