Lync 2010 is said to be descendant of Office 2010 with features including Conference Capabilities, Support for High-Definition Voice and options for Cloud Delivery.
Lync is also said to be compatible with third party systems, including the Consumer messaging platforms like, AOL, Yahoo as well as Google. This product is also having capability of Direct IP call over Internet, by which you can keep track of Co-workers working in your firm thereby saving Call Costs. When it is used on a Single Platform it is capable of working with Business Applications such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Exchange.
This Platform is more capable for Business Development as it features both Audio and Video Conferencing which makes business meets more face to face. It even features Application Sharing, Desktop Sharing, Instant messaging and Telephony. Lync can work with Applications already installed which makes it more user friendly tool or software. Microsoft’s Lync website is offering a free trial of the softwarewhich will be available by Dec. 1.
