An Opensource Animation Film expecting fund from Kickstarter
Here’s an Opensource Animation film seeking for a fund from Kickstarter for its completion. The film named “Tube” with a story line of an Uruk’s ancient kind in pursuit of immortality. The film was created by independant animators around the world, including the animators from Berlin, Cape Town and London. According to the reports from Mashable, the Tube is is on Kickstarter and has gained $14,560 from 394 people. The team needs $22,000 for completing the movie. The movie’s soundtracks, drawings are available to anyone under the creative commons licence.
“With your support we can use the open movie to free animation from the limits of genre and enable the production of ambitious, independent work,” Fatah Slavitskaya, Tube writer and producer, said in its Kickstarter video statement. The movie is expected to be completed in 7 months.
