Now access your Gmail Offline

Gmail labs have been working on this feature to enable Gmail to work, even when the user is not connected to the internet. Enabling this feature, Gmail will load in browser even if the user does not have internet connection. You can read, flag, star, lable, compose and lable your mails. Compose new mails and keep it ready to send once the internet connection is up.  This feature has been build on the Google Gears platform. Google docs, Google reader and other third party web applications use google gears for offline feature.

How to enable offline feature in gmail;

-Login to your gmail account

-Click the ‘Labs’ icons tab and select ‘Enable’ next to ‘Offline Gmail’

-Save your changes

-Offline syncronization process can be intiated by clicking the ‘Offline’ link in the upper right corner.

This feature is available in standard edition.
