Apple going down- Windows Phone and Android rising!

Android hits a new high in the third quarter. It gets to 81% of the total market share. Last year, they sold around 139.9 million units which accounted for 74.9% of the market share at that time. The increase from last year represents a 51.3% growth.

Blackberry is registering a constant downfall and only a miracle can help save the company. Blackberry should have sticked with their Qwerty type phones. They should have learnt from their mistakes when they launched the Storm 1 and Storm 2. The type of touchscreen and the difficulty in clicking the screen accounted for the failure of the two models. The latest iterations from BlackBerry- the BB OS 10 and the range of devices are said to have some percent of sales but the downfall and loss for the company is great compared to the profit. Apple sales for the third quarter are hitting the bottom. People are not buying the latest phones which are looking similar to their brothers of the previous generation. People seek innovation whereas Apple seeks marketing skills. Only if the Cupertino based company sees to what the people want, will it be successful.
