7-inch tablet ASUS FonePad with phone functionality announced for $249 [MWC 2013]

FonePad from ASUS is a 7-inch tablet with built-in phone functionality just like Galaxy 8.0! And yes, this has a Intel 1.2GHz Atom Z2420 processor,1GB of RAM, 4,270mAH battery, PowerVR SGX540 GPU, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 3-megapixel rear shooter, a 1.2-megapixel front camera, 7-inch 1,280 x 800 IPS display and HSPA+ radio.

The FonePad looks classy with a metal back.  It also supports 32GB cards.

The Fonepad will be available in UK at the end June and costing £179, or 219 euro in the rest of the continent $249 in the Asia-Pacific.
