The Benetton’s shop to setup Spy cameras in Mannequins

Next time when you enter the Benetton shop, you will not just find a sexy mannequin, but also a spy camera in it. Benetton, is the only shop that has Italy’s Almax mannequins – will now spy its customer to help the brands better understand their customers. These mannequins will have camera called “EyeSee” with a facial recognition technology that can collect information about its customers – like gender, age and race. These information will be used by the brands to analysis the customer interests and will help them to provide better shopping experience.

Though these kind of technologies are already available on store-security cameras, but these mannequins  can provide an eye-level view to grab more interaction from customers, argues Almax.
