Cannon’s latest EOS 1dx model with a 18 Mega pixels capable of shooting at 14 frames per second.
Mini Joystick multi-controller
The model features with a mini-joystick multi-controller, which provides an extensible facility for navigating the menus and allows you to select AF points, even while the camera being used in portrait format. This facility helps to switch between AF points when shooting in the upright orientation.
Auto Focus
It has the brand new auto focus system. The model seems to have 61 AF points and it is expected to provide better coverage of the scene. Particularly the coverage is better while shooting the moving objects.
H.264 Video codec
EOS-1DX has H.264 codec in video mode.
2400 battery hours
Battery complies with all the new safety regulations mandated in Japan. And also it has storage capability to 2400 hours.
The new GPS – GP-E1 Unit
It has a new dedicated GPS unit, the GP-E1, that records all the standard GPS data including timecode. It also features an electronic compass that records the orientation of the camera.
