DataWind UbiSlate 7Ri Tablet

DataWind’s UbiSlate 7Ri tablet is one of the cheapest Android tablet in the market. It sports 7-inch LCD display screen with the pixel resolution of 800 x 480. The device is powered by Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1 GHz, a MALI-400 GPU, 512 MB RAM and with an internal storage of 4GB; which is shared among the ROM, apps and user’s data. The internal storage is expandable up to 32GB. In the connectivity front, UbiSlate features Wi-Fi, micro USB for PC interface and OTG. It comes with an 0.3 megapixel front facing camera.

The device is completely made of a glossy plastic with white edges on the right & left sides. It weighs 300 grams and 11 mm in thickness. The device runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

What’s missing?

Where is the rear camera? Surprisingly, the device doesn’t feature rear camera at all. It only has a front facing camera, which supports 0.3 megapixel.
