Central Standard Timing and E-ink show off CST-01- world’s thinnest watch

The mind-blowing thinnest watch is showcased in CES 2013! Would you believe that its extremely slimmer? slimmer than a credit card!

The CST-01 E Ink watch, is the result of partnership between Central Standard Timing and E Ink. Notably, the product was in the prototype phase for a year, and went live on Kickstarter, with a funding goal of $200,000.

Whats behind this, is the flexible stainless steel which gives a 0.8mm sleek aesthetic body. All watch units are photo-chemically etched into this stainless steel! A Thinergy micro-energy cell is embedded in the device which charges the device in 10 minutes via an external dock. The battery life is rated for a month. Whole weight of the device is only 12 grams! Pre-orders are being taken for $129 and is the watch is expected to ship in Q2 2013.
