3D Systems’ CubeX 3D printer prints massive objects in three colors!

3D Systems unveiled  CubeX, which could be an ultimate desktop 3D printer. Its triple-color printing makes CubeX, an ideal printer for tech enthusiasts, serious hobbyists, educators and entrepreneurs.

It can print upto 1,030 cubic inches (10.8 x 10.45 x 9.5-inches), simply a size of a basketball! The CubeX has three printing modes at resolutions up to 125 microns. High Definition (125 Micron), Crisp Definition (250 Micron) and Standard Definition (500 Micron).

3D system boasts that CubeX can print at a speed of 2X time faster in 3 colors and higher definition than other 3D printers! CubeX prints in both compostable PLA and recyclable ABS plastics.

  1. Does filament still cost 5x as much as all other printers? I.E. $150/kg vs $40/kg
