Fiat Uno Minivan revealed for 2011
Fiat Uno was first launched in its homeland Italy in 1983 and all over the world in 1995. Uno was known as the super mini car of the decade. In India, this car was launched in 1990 only. The Uno was launched to replace the ageing Fiat 127. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro’s ItalDesign company. Initially, the Uno was offered with the 0.9 litre (903 cc) OHV, 1.1 litre (1116 cc), and 1.3 litre (1301 cc) 138-series SOHC petrol engines and transmissions carried over from the 127.
Fiat is working on its new minivan Five door version Fiat 500 for 2011 launch. US Industry paper Automotive news Claims that some sources say that Fiat has confirmed the Five door Fiat 500 launch. According to AutoNews, the five-door 500 is known internally as the L0, and will be classified in Europe as a ‘small minivan’. The model will reportedly be offered both in Europe and in overseas markets, utilising a longer and wider version of the current 500 platform. Other specifications and Price of this minivan has not yet been announced by the Company.
