Flying humans spotted over Newyork city : Chronicle movie promotion

Flying men? Yes, if you happened to see some flying humans in the sky over the busy area of New York city and New Jersey during the last week, in fact, its true. It was a new way of movie promotion by 20th Century Fox. With the work of viral marketing agency Thinkmodo, the 20th Century Fox was trying to promote its latest movie “Chronicle“. Viral marketing is a new trend of promotions for any business these days.

According to the reports from 20th Century Fox, if you had already seen the trailer of the movie, then the people would definitely able to make a connection between the flying humans and the theme of the movie.

Michael Krivicka from Thinkmodo explains:

“Since the three main characters of the movie have the ability to fly, we came up with the idea of staging a few “flying people” sightings around NYC. We achieved that illusion by having 3 custom-made aircraft (which were shaped like human beings) fly above designated areas in NYC and NJ.” – Courtesy Techcrunch.com
