Google bags the deal of selling 27,000 chromebooks to US schools

Google’s next big move towards the promotion of its Chromebooks. Recently Google has bagged a big deal to bring 27,000 Chrome books to three US school districts which includes students from Iowa, Illinois and South Carolina. According to the reports from CNET, South carolina’s Richland School District has ordered 19,000 Chromebooks for its three year program.  The Google Chromebooks are designed to well connect with Google Apps, Google’s online suite for word processing, e-mail, presentations, and more.  Chromebooks can also feature any application downloaded from the  Chrome Web Store.

Bryan Weinert, the technology coordinator for the Leyden Community High School distric in Illinois said that,

Google Chrome books are the best bet for the student learning. We had decided to deploy 3,500 to students next year. Every single student will be issued a Chromebook they can use at school and at home.
