Google Maps goes Offline for Android devices and adds 3D maps : Breaking news

Till now you need an internet connection to use Google Maps. Today the search engine giant has announced that, Google Maps will now let you to download maps in advance like Sygic. The offline map was in the beta stage in Google Labs for some time, and finally it is coming for only the Android devices. The news was announced by Google in an event in San Francisco. According to the reports, the company is also planning to launch 3D maps during the event.
