HP and 3M create a PC that can be powered via Ethernet cable: HP t410

HP using the 3M technology has unveiled its new PC that doesn’t require a power cable. HP t410, a model that can be powered via Ethernet cable, thanks to the One Wire technology from 3M. HP t140 uses the 3M technology called One Wire, a technology that uses ethernet cable to deliver both the internet and power. The PC runs by a technology called System on a Chip (SoC), which includes ARM processor and a Digital Signage Processor.  The PC costs around $430, is a low powered thin client targeting schools and small businesses. The PC is expected to be in the market around this summer.
