HP Compaq Airlife 100

HP introduced a new notebook which allows users to access resources like social networking, internet anywhere, e-mail, instant messaging, photos, music and more. The Compaq AirLife 100 includes a 10.1-inch bright screen, Android operating system (full multitasking support), and a customized touch interface.

hp-compaqHP Compaq Airlife 100 smartbook is not just an imaginary Concept. After spotted at FCC, finally HP officially announced the Compaq Airlife 100 specs. This Smartbook use an Android OS platform womplete with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, 3G and WiFi connectivity, 12-hour battery life with 10 days standby. HP Compaq Airlife 100 android smartbook is powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon with a 16GB SSD. This HP’s debut smartbook will be supported by Europe and Latin America’s mobile broadband service and will soon available in US as next HP Mini series. Sadly, HP didn’t explain about the price.

This new netbook also reinforces the strategic agreement signed on November 2009 between HP and the European telecommunications company Telefonica to define a partnership that provides mobile broadband services to markets located in Europe and Latin America. According to the companies, HP and Telefonica have created this association in order to offer an unsurpassable online experience for customers.

As told before the price of this new netbook is still a suspense and it will be coming into market by April 2010.
