Jeon Yong’s innovative magnetic ring table calendar – ONE
Want to get an artistic calendar for your home? This ring calendar is going to be yours then.
ONE is a magnetic ring calendar created by South Korean designer Jeong Yong who was inspired by the relationship among Sun, Moon and Earth.
Yong wanted to envision the calendar to be presented in circles, rather than square grids. The concept includes three different sized rings made of ABS.
The largest ring, representing the sun, has 31 units to mark the days; the middle ring, which represents the moon, has 12 units for every month; and the smallest ring, represents the people who created seven days of the week, has the names of the days of the week.
The date is shown by the intersection of all three rings and this can be arranged in any number of ways! Want to get one?! We expect the calender to be in markets sooner!
