Karbonn Smartphones A1 And A5 Available Online

Karbonn takes the fast track route to distribute two newly released handsets by making them available for purchase online. Many smartphone manufacturers are trying to reach a wider audience by releasing their products online, sometimes simultaneously or even before the actual release dates. The Karbonn Smart A1 Star and A5 Star are budget smartphones, each priced below the 5,000 INR mark. The A1 Star is the better featured one of the two, running on the recent but not the latest of Android operating systems – Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). It has a 3.5 inch display with 320×480 pixels of resolution. The A1 Star runs on a 256 MB RAM with 1 GHz processor. The device comes equipped with a 3 MP rear facing camera and a VGA front facing camera. The 512 MB internal memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using external memory card (microSD).

The A5 Star, on the other hand runs on a primitive 2.3 Gingerbread operation system. Its features include,
