World’s Largest Panoramic Photo shot in London – 320 Gigapixels

Here’s the world record for shooting the largest panoramic photo ever! The photo is biggest enough to equal 48,000 photos, according to the reports from Discover News. A team from British Telecommunications and 360 cities have joined hands to create this biggest panoramic photo of 320 gigapixels. The photo was shot in the busy city of London using four cameras firing simultaneously from the BT tower.

According to the reports, the earlier record for largest photo was also shot in London, which was an 80 gigapixel image. 360cities claims that you could peep into at least 10,000 windows in this image. In fact, I did that and tried to catch some chick over there.

British Telecommunications has created a panorama tool on its website, where you can pan around the city of London, zoom and peep into each building and figure out some scenes. Try out and send us images if you can find anything interesting. Your images will be posted in this article with the credits to you.
