Mercedes Benz set to integrate Apple’s Siri for A-Class electronics system

Mercedes Benz has recently announced its plan to integrate Apple’s Siri into its A-Class electronics system, that allows drivers to interact with their iPhone apps via voice commands. The program named “Drive Kit Plus” will work along with Mercedes Benz’s Digital DriveStyle Application to translate the iPhone’s screen onto the in-car system screen.  The Drive Kit Plus is also loaded with other apps like Twitter, Facebook and Aupeo Personal Radio. The application also provides options for the users to add and control the apps via iPhone. Drive Kit Plus has also been integrated with Garmin navigation system.

Mercedes Benz claims to be the first car maker to integrate Apple’s Siri for a vehicle platform. The feature is all set to debut during Geneva auto show next month.
