Microsoft starts “Scroogled” to attack Google’s Paid Shopping ad’s
Yet another boxing between Microsoft and Google. This time Microsoft initiatives the attack against its famous rivalry via the website “Scroogled”. This campaign is against Google’s unfair pay-to-rank shopping practices and says “Simply put, all of their shopping results are now paid ads”. We say that when you limit choices and rank them by payment, consumers get Scroogled, adds Microsoft on its site. The Scroogled website tries to promote Bing’s holiday shopping results and “Add Bing as your homepage”.
Also Microsoft promises not switch to pay-to-rank which will be unfair as Google’s approach. For now, the promise from Microsoft may stay true, but who knows?
