Microsoft demonstrates Screenless shoulder mounted touch display!

Just a day ago, we wrote an article about Microsoft’s Super fast touchscreen research. Here’s an another Microsoft research project, where you don’t even need a touch screen. This new prototype can transform a notebook into a notebook computer, a wall into an interactive display, and the palm of your hand into a smart phone display. I mean, you can right away use the WALL as tablets. Yes, Microsoft demonstrates its new Pico Projector-based interface that can project onto any surface like WALL, notepad etc…

A Microsoft researcher demonstrates this technology by wearing a Pico projector kit on his shoulder and projects onto the WALL and notepad. Then you can touch the projected display to perform any normal actions like zoom in, zoom out, messaging and calling. The research really seems to be impressive.
