microsoft_jpgMark Kroese, general manager of Microsoft’s IEB advertising business group quoted “Microsoft’s going to make a splash in this market with a stripped-down version of Windows tailored for set-top boxes and connected TVs. The software is a version of its embedded device software, overlaid with the Windows Media Center interface, with media streaming and remote-control capabilities.”

This is really good news for many Microsoft device users and really bitter news for other Interactive TV manufacturers. The price of Microsoft Interactive TV is quite low compared to other dealers. This Interactive TV is said to hit the market later in mid 2011 at a price of $200. The device is said to have many Interactive games which gives real entertainment to its users.
