Now, you can build a story with interactive Freeform sketches via Microsoft SketchInsight

Want to present data in a more meaningful and pictorial way?! Here is a project straight out of Microsoft’s research labs to aid you! At the company’s TechFest event this week, Microsoft showed up an interactive whiteboard system prototye for storytelling, SketchInsight.

SketchInsight  is designed as a system for storytelling by using real-time sketching  – creating personalized and expressive data charts. It could let you complete the work quick and easy by automatically completing the chart by synthesizing from example sketches, turning the drawn sketches into animations, mine data from a database and suggest options for charts, diagrams, and other visualizations. SketchInsight also plays a big part of Microsoft’s focus on “big data” which would help in masses of content and information available at our fingertips. Would this system bring a far more better way of data expression?
