Print your lipstick or blush at home! Mink – the mini makeup printer

The whole idea of makeup has changed and its no far restricted to heroines. But the price tag which comes along, still makes us think! Yesteryear we came across Modiface – 3D augmented make-up reality which could help to cut down costs of buying blushes and colors that won’t suit us. Now, its time to see even more and much bigger! And you would be absolutely delighted to know, that you can get your favorite color lipstick or blush right away and right at the comfort of your home!

Its time to thank Grace Choi,  Harvard Business School grad student who debuted the awesome 3-D printer called Mink that prints makeup in the color you want! Yes, you read that correct – its wearable makeup in any color!

Grace says that the makeup brands flash their products by mixing colors. And we have also seen today’s fashion colors changed to blue and green from pink and red.

Grace quotes that most makeup companies use the same ink that is available to everyone in their color inkjet printers. The interesting fact is that these colored inks in printers are FDA approved!

This gave path to Mink – the mini home inkjet printer that can print any color of choice! I guess it would be a nice feeling to apply freshly printed makeup. Here is a demo of Mink by Grace at the Techcrunch Disrupt event.

Mink will retail for $300 soon(pretty much less, if you calculate how much you have spent for makeup so long!). Are you ready to grab one?
