Powerup your Smartphone with a ratchet inspired flicks – Voltmaker
These days smartphones does hell amount of work, but at the cost of your battery charge. Sometimes you might need a backup to send a last minute mail or a message. What if your smartphone’s battery is running out quickly? Fortunately you can just flick your wrist few times and then bingo! The Volkmaker is a device that lets you power up your smartphones using the kinetic energy or can be plugged in to act as a backup battery for your devices.
Recharging Voltmaker is quite easy, as you just need to plug-in the device to your laptop via USB or mains and leave it for 2 hours or so. The device features two USB ports; a USB port for recharging your portable devices and a micro usb to recharge the Voltmaker’s built-in battery. The device also has LED to indicate the charging state. Voltmaker is powered by 2000mAh lithium battery and protected against deep discharge and overcharge.
To charge it, you’ll have to hold the hidden rod which is secured to the body using a magnet and can be released using spring-loaded mechanism. And then just spin the rod to generate kinetic energy. It’s just simple as that!
