New NTT Docomo 3G F901iC Fingerprint Sensor Phone

NTT Docomo introduces another feature-packed FOMA 3G mobile phone – F901iC. The F901iC features the FeliCa payment chip, fingerprint authentication sensor, Video recording at speeds up to 30 frames/second, virtual surround sound for ring tones, mini-SD card slot, two color screens and two digital cameras: 2MP and 3MP.
The 901i series offers surround-type SD sound for vivid ringing melodies and realistic audio effects when playing i-appli™ games or using other applications. The F901iC is equipped with FeliCa smart-card technology for e-money, ticketing and other handy mobile functions. If the handset is lost or misplaced, its smart-card functions or all phone functions can be locked remotely by calling the handset from a registered phone number. Malicious use can also be prevented with the use of either an ID number or the handset’s fingerprint sensor.

Video recording at speeds up to 30 frames/second. QVGA video can be recorded or played back with TV-like quality.
Sub LCD shows ChakuMotion™ (video clips for incoming calls) and improved music player operation (fast reverse/forward, continuous play, etc. when handset is closed).
Privacy mode for call logs, i-motion™, images and scheduler (new), as well as address book, mail and i-appli (as before).
With the phone placed in the USB-equipped battery charger’s cradle, images can be transferred to a PC using the phone’s bundled data-link software and cable.
Software to create PC photo albums, edit and print photos, and create wallpaper and slideshows.
Price of this mobile is not yet been released. This mobile may be released by March 2010.
